CCG Obtains Judgment in Real Estate Arbitration
Commonwealth Counsel Group’s Jonathan Matthews and Parker Wornall recently obtained a substantial judgment on a client’s behalf in a real estate dispute arbitrated pursuant to the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors (GLAR) rules. The arbitration related to a real estate sales contract and complex issues involving the seller’s failure to disclose water damage and concealment of construction defects. The arbitrator’s award compensated CCG’s client for the work required to repair the damage plus an additional amount in punitive damages and all of its attorney’s fees, costs and expenses incurred.
